When Kevin Crawford is not dedicating his time to KC Events he picks up his guitar and fronts The Strangers, one of Scotlands finest live four-piece covers bands. Kevin plays a key role in both the company and the band so you can be assured that the same dedication is there throughout the whole day making your event unforgettable. It represents one of the finest and most complete event and entertainment packages available anywhere in Scotland or the UK.
An incredibly talented and hugely entertaining band, The Strangers have played together for twenty years and have performed at many prestigious venues across Scotland including the Gleneagles Hotel. They can draw on a repertoire of classic hits from the 60s through to the present day. All members of the band are great musicians in their own right but together they create a sound which puts a smile on any face and is guaranteed to get people dancing, the perfect choice for any event.

For the more traditional and energetic, Ceilidh bands and accordionists can be called upon if you want a real hoolie of an evening and we can also provide authentic Scottish country dancing with a caller who will be able to take you through all the steps. Marquee Events / Weddings:
A Marquee from KC Events will be silk lined, fully floored, heated and will include chandeliers, window walls, entrance tunnel and catering tent as well as be fully equipped with tables, chairs, table cloths, crockery and cutlery. Executive toilet units will be provided.
For your event / wedding the following can be offered:
We will take full responsibility for set up of the marquee, running of the event itself and breakdown of the marquee following the event. Leaving you free to fully enjoy the event safe in the knowledge that you and your guests are being looked after.
We can offer marquee packages for up to 300 people. Prices available on request.
Venue Catering:
If you would prefer your event / wedding to take place within a public hall, historic building, farm building or individual venue of your choice, KC Events can ensure your venue is designed to your specific requirements. This will include: dressing the walls and ceilings with silk linings, floor coverings, bespoke lighting,staging and dance floor.
KC Events will also provide a full catering service within your venue and will oversee the set up, running of the event and clearing of the venue.
Kevin can recommend various venues within the Scottish Borders which may suit your needs.
Bar Hire:
For Corporate and Private Events we can supply Boutique Bar units, flash and python system coolers, under counter or upright refrigeration units, glassware, certified engineer for installation and maintenance of units throughout the event, trained, friendly and professional bar staff.

As part of our outside bar, mobile bar service we can provide bar facilities, bar staff and drinks for any size of event. We can offer a full range of wines, spirtits, chilled draught beers, bottled beers, lagers as well as a host of associated refreshments and soft drinks all served by fully trained and approved bar staff.
If you want to add some real sparkle to your day then one of our special champagne receptions is sure to impress. We offer everything from chilled fine champagne to prosecco in the finest glasses.
Our draught beers and spirits are all fully aligned and comply to the Scottish trading standards Weights & Measures Act 1985 which allow us to serve drinks in both glass and, if preferred, plastic containers. We can provide a bar service exactly tailored to your requirements, whether your event or wedding is on your own premises or in one of our special marquees.
As well as providing our professional bar services KC EVENTS can also provide our bespoke bar units and equipment on a hire basis only either to the hospitality or private sector.
